bad wake up

I wake up and a snail is in my Over flow tube and lets just say i have a little bit of the sea everywere.

ya it sucks big bro. it was a mirite snail and he discided to take a trip and leave me a pool in my bedroom

Got it fixed and cleaned up. so everything is running smooth. but it looks like i have lost my clown goby and small cleaner shrimp in the prosses.

damn that sucks im not buying any snails now

now hold on. snails are great for the aquarium both fresh and saltwater. they clean and eat that is it. the reason it got in was because i never put a gard on the overflow. but now i have one so there will be no more problems with that. i recomend snails. go for it. I may have lost one shrimp and a cheap small fish but it is ok. at least it was not my angle. lol

i also recommend snails as a cleanup crew MTS FTW

depends on your fish. i know loaches and bichirs eat mts... but i dont know of many more that eat snails

for freshwater you can go to petsmart and get trumpit snails for free if you buy a fish. for saltwater you want to go to Reefcleaners.org for Dwarf Cerith snails. both breed like crazy and if you get a lot of them you will have a 24/7 supply. that is what i do.
